Matthew Markham is a Vice President at Butterfly and is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio monitoring.
Prior to joining Butterfly, Mr. Markham was a member of the investment team at H.I.G. Capital, where he led buyout and growth stage investments across a range of sectors. Before that, he led FP&A at Acuant, where he helped guide the company through its sale to a public strategic. Mr. Markham began his career at Morgan Stanley, where he focused on transactions within the healthcare and consumer retail sectors. He holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics and Biology from Brown University and an MBA from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
