Vannesa Santos is the Operations Manager of the Butterfly Equity Foundation. Ms. Santos is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the foundation and providing administrative, financial, and grantmaking support.
She has a background in grants management, community center work, and program coordination. She has worked across different roles that require organization, collaboration, and a commitment to supporting meaningful change. She is passionate about uplifting future leaders, communities, and organizations that have been historically underrepresented ensuring they have the resources, opportunities, and support they need to create lasting impact.
Ms. Santos is currently part of a fellowship with the Youth Transition Funders Group, a national network of funders dedicated to improving systems that affect young people. Through this experience, she has gained insight into collaborating with a diverse group of funders from both the private and public sectors to stay informed about emerging research and policy developments and to influence policy and best practices for supporting underserved communities.
